Local Firm Secures Two Year National Trust Contract

Addingham catering company GFS Catering today secured a two year contract as a preferred caterer for weddings and events at the National Trust’s East Riddlesden Hall property. GFS Director, Richard Kent said ‘This contract award further enhances our position as one of Yorkshire’s leading Outside Catering companies. East Riddlesden Hall is a stunning Wedding and Event venue and we hope to further enhance the experience for guests with the addition of our products and services.
In early 2008, circumstances dictated a new focus for the business and it was decided to heavily invest in the Outside Catering operation. GFS Director, Steve Mayo, concludes ‘Our focus on the Outside Catering Division really has proved to be the right decision. Our recent successes have allowed us to expand our team of local award winning chefs and event staff, raising our food presentation and service to an even higher level’.
The company’s experienced team of staff havecompleted events all over Yorkshire from Exquisite Marquee Weddings through to Glamorous Product Launches for their corporate clients.
One of the team’s most unusual requests of 2010 was serving several thousand nutritionally balanced high energy meals to the staff, competitors and support crews for Oxfam’s Trailtrekker event held annually in the Yorkshire Dales. ‘OXFAM were really pleased by the high quality of our food and our ethical approach’ said Richard Kent.

East Riddlesden Hall is a National Trust property steeped in History and has been used as a set for the Film adaptation of Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights. The property is a stunning location for any event, and the Hall, Lawns and Lake are the perfect backdrop for a classic Wedding Celebration.
